Born in Australia and currently based in Sydney, Christopher R. Clarke has travelled Australia and the globe capturing on film and digital media some of the most spectacular and original images in his class. Starting his career in I.T. Engineering, he has since worked and lived in Antarctica three times as a technical officer and photographer; travelled through South East and Northern Asia by any means; supplied media and images to the Australian Government, National Geographic and Discovery Channel; worked in publishing as a freelance digital media writer and worked on major multi-million dollar engineering rollouts and shipping resupplies. Christopher is an experienced nature photographer and film maker, having studied in Sydney and worked across Australia and Asia on 35mm and medium format film, HDV, XDCAM, DVCAM and AVCHD. In 2007 he created a series of video podcasts about life on the remote sub-Antarctic Macquarie Island which won him the major prize on the National Geographic Adventure Channel Blognotes competition. He has built an incredible media portfolio with extensive travel across Australia, South East Asia,
