Born in Australia and currently based in Sydney,
Christopher R. Clarke has travelled Australia and the globe
capturing on film and digital media some
spectacular and original images.
Starting his career in I.T. Engineering, he has since worked
and lived in Antarctica three times as a technical officer
and photographer; travelled through South East and Northern Asia by any means; worked on various television and film productions in Australia; worked as a freelance writer for Digital Media World magazine and supplied digital media to
the Australian Government, National Geographic, Fairfax Media and the Discovery Channel.
Christopher is an experienced travel photographer and new media designer, having studied in Sydney and worked across Australia and Asia
on film and various digital video formats.
In 2007 he created a series of video podcasts
about life on the remote sub-Antarctic Macquarie Island. These are currently being aired on the National Geographic Adventure
channel.
He has built a vast portfolio with extensive travel across Australia, South East Asia,
United States of America, China, Mongolia, Russia, New Zealand, Fiji and of course Antarctica.
